We recently participated in the Training of Facilitators, hosted by Louisiana CASA. As a member of the statewide network, we have the opportunity to participate in trainings throughout the year to help the organization further its mission.
Training of Facilitators is an in-depth, two-day training, that equips local program staff with the tools, knowledge and resources to lead the pre-service training for new CASA volunteers.
This training is mandatory to ensure we can provide proper training to our volunteers next year. Louisiana CASA is dedicated to ensuring that each program has access to relevant adult learning and skills-based facilitator training in order to maximize our volunteers’ learning and preparation, which will, ultimately, improve the outcomes of the children CASA serves.
