Celebrity Waiter of the 18th JDC just weeks away

The Celebrity Waiter of the 18th JDC will host its second annual signature fundraising event on Sunday, Sept. 14. The event gathers hundreds from across the tri-parish to support CASA of the 18th JDC, a local organization providing court-appointed volunteer advocacy for children in foster care due to abuse or neglect in Iberville, Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge. This year’s presenting sponsor is Easley Builders.
Fourteen local community individuals have been named celebrity waiters for this year’s event. Each are competing to raise funds for CASA. Last year’s event raised more than $214,000, a tremendous success.
This year’s 14 celebrity waiters are:

- Kim Canezaro, Pointe Coupee Parish School Board Superintendent
- Ashleigh Celedonia, ExxonMobil Port Allen Lubricants Plant Manager
- Chris Daigle, Iberville Parish President
- Albert Denoux, Velocity Clinical Research Clinical Site Director
- Carey Denstel, West Baton Rouge Councilmember
- Grover Harrison, AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana Member & Community Engagement Director
- Jimmy Laurent, Pointe Coupee Parish Assessor
- Desiree Lemoine, The TJC Group Director of Governmental Affairs & Industry Makes Campaign Manager
- Gina LoBue, Iberville Parish School District Supervisor of Human Resources
- Ashley McDaniel, Landmark Bank Assistant Vice President of Business Development & Loan Production

This invitation-only event features live entertainment, dinner, open bar and silent & live auctions. All funds raised remain in the tri-parish area.
